Choosing and using musical materials for the young learner EFL classroom

The Teachers of Young Learners SIG of the Japanese Association of Language Teaching invited me to write an article for their Summer 2012 Newsletter. The article is addressed to teachers of young EFL learners. In the article I weave my personal experience with using music in the young learner classroom together with support from the literature in order to provide teachers with useful insights into how to choose and use music with their young EFL learners.
